Are you ready for a ride at The Rocky Road House!

Well Easter has come and gone already and we have received so much feedback from our Easter Egg Range and our customers are wanting more.  We have a very big year planned and would love to share with you what we have in the pipeline cause this is going to be a crazy ride…………….

We have recently launched our new company logo which we are really excited about.  It is funky and very unique what do you think?

We are also in the development phase of our new website which is also going to be really funky, rustic and unique.  It is going to be a website that will definately stamp our authority when it comes to Rocky Road products.  This will be the hub for all orders, enquiries, blogspot, what’s new, what’s happening, specials and additional information for The Rocky Road House.  We are aiming to have this launched by the end of April/Early May so stay tuned for this one as it is going be to very impressive.

What else does The Rocky Road House have in store for 2013 you ask??

We are currently developing and testing four new flavours that will be launched in the coming months - two of these flavours I think are rocky road classics and very delicious and two not so classic but work really well with chocolate and we are making them our own that’s for sure so watch this space……………………

The Rocky Road House has been invitied to the two biggest Chocolate Festivals in the Hunter Valley in 2013 – these include:

Hunter Valley Gardens Chocolate Festival

Date: 6 & 7 July 2013

About the Festival: The Hunter Valley Garden’s plans are well underway for this delicious event in conjunction with Snow Time In The Garden.  With over 14,000 visitors over 2 days you will get to experience displays, celebrity guests, demonstrations, competitions, entertainment and much more.  The Chocolate Festival will run daily from 9am – 5pm.  So come along and join in the fun as it is sure to be spectacular and we are glad to be a part of this Festival in 2013.

At The Rocky Road House we have been really busy over the last few weeks finalising our new handmade rocky road easter range and we are now ready to launch the 2013 collection.

Salted Caramel Easter Egg -  A creamy butter caramel egg with a salted caramel rocky road filled with soft white marshmallows

Dark Chocolate Rough Easter Egg -  A deliciously rich dark chocolate egg that has a strong cocoa flavour filled with rocky road made with toasted coconut

Dark Mint Chocolate Easter Egg – A deliciously rich dark chocolate egg filled with peppermint rocky road

Milk Chocolate Pop-It Egg -  A creamy milk chocolate egg filled with milk chocolate rocky road and popping candy – great for the kids!!

White Chocolate Egg A sweet creamy white chocolate egg filled with rocky road made with beautiful cranberries and pink marshmallows

Butterscotch cupcakes with salted caramel rocky road topping and Caramel cupcakes with salted caramel rocky road topping

All of our Easter eggs are half-open eggs and are available in 3 sizes:

Large (22cm)
This large egg weighs in at a whooping 1 kg so try if you DARE!!!!
Medium (15cm)
This medium egg weighs in at 600g and is a great gift for the kids and family
Small (13cm)
This small egg weighs in at 400g and is also a great size for the kids and family

Each egg is individually handmade and beautifully boxed ready to go as a gift to that special person or for yourself to indulge in over Easter.

We also have our 200g Rocky Road bars and 200g Rocky Road Clusters in Dark, Milk and White Chocolate

Well 2013 has arrived and many New Years resolutions made! At The Rocky Road House our New Year’s resolution is to provide our customers with new ridiculously delicious rocky road products to enjoy………..Starting with our Salted Caramel range for Easter so keep your eyes open for the launch of these new products!

These cupcakes are egg free and come in classic vanilla, bold chocolate, pink rose and marble, topped with our secret rocky road topping and drizzled with chocolate.  When it comes to cake OMG these rocky road cupcakes have a beautiful moist sponge and a crunchy top and they are to die for.
